The Walker Area Association of REALTORS® was charted in 1956 as a real estate trade association.Brokers in Jasper, Alabama had a goal to set themselves apart from the average real estate broker. We have now grown to include all of Walker, Winston and Marion Counties. Our goal is to promote the ownership of real property, ensure professionalism and protect property rights.

The Walker Area Association of REALTORS® (WAAR) promotes, educates and supports its members in serving the public while adhering to the REALTOR® Code of Ethics. In partnership with the Alabama Association of REALTORS® and the National Association of REALTORS®, WAAR exists to expand opportunities for real property ownership and to preserve private property rights.
